You fling yourself onto a ledge, and just in time! A full-grown lion falls into the large pool of water several metres deep, followed closely by a violent looking man in a filthy raincoat with a lamp. As they flounder together below, you spy a small crawlspace at the opposite ledge.
Looking down, the lion roars underwater, as the lamp extinguishes and the two vanish without a trace. This is a weird house.
You make your way to the crawlspace, finding a small door you can open inside it. You open the door and see, apparently, a dumbwaiter you could pull yourself up in. You could also wait and rest nearby in the candlelight. That was tiring.
